What this tool calculates
Delivery-order contribution is the order value remaining after the commission and direct costs entered here. Choose a percentage of entered order revenue or a fixed fee. Subtracting that fee, food cost, packaging and other direct costs gives contribution before expenses outside the model.

How the calculation works
Fee = revenue × fee rate or fixed fee. Remainder = revenue − food − packaging − fee − other costs.
Worked example
A ₹1,000 order less ₹350 food, ₹30 packaging and a ₹200 entered fee leaves ₹420 before other costs.
Understanding the result
A delivery-platform contract may apply fees, taxes, promotions or adjustments on a different basis. The calculator does not reproduce a platform settlement statement. A positive contribution is not net profit because fixed costs and other omitted expenses still need to be covered.
